Do You Know… That the patch of ground between your sidewalk and the road is to be maintained by the property owner and you must receive permission to remove or plant a tree on this section of ground. If you have any questions, please call the Borough.
Do You Know… That you are responsible for the condition of the sidewalk in front or on the side of your property – it must be swept clean and free of snow and ice, etc.
Do You Know… Grass and weeds on your property cannot exceed ten inches as per Borough ordinance.
Do You Know… That Williamson Park is a Public Park that offers baseball and soccer fields, tennis courts, basketball courts, picnic areas, playground equipment and plenty of space to have fun. Hours are from dawn to dusk. Restroom facilities are available during the spring and summer season. Please observe rules for age and height restrictions where posted.
Do You Know… That there is a Morrisville Little League Baseball Organization that offers programs for boys and girls from four to eighteen. Softball and baseball are offered. Anyone who wishes more information can visit MorrisvilleLL.org.
Do You Know… That the Historic Morrisville Society, owners of Summerseat, continues to preserve and restore Summerseat which is “the only house in America” that was owned by two signers of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution: Robert Morris and George Clymer. Summerseat was also Headquarters for George Washington before the Battle of Trenton. Summerseat is located on Hillcrest and Legion Avenues and Open House is held the first Saturday of each month from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. There is no admission charge. New members are welcome. Do You Know… That there is a yearly bicycle auction to dispose of unclaimed bicycles. It is listed each year in the local newspaper and on Channel #22.
